About the role
Our client in tech is looking for a Technology and Business Partner, CEO's office who will be serving as a strategic partner, providing high-level executive, operational, and project support to the Chief Executive Officer. The role is also expected to actively contribute to business operations, strategic initiatives, project coordination, stakeholder management and executive decision-making.
The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional initiatives, monitor execution of strategic priorities, engage confidently in business and technical discussions, and serve as a key liaison between the CEO, internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
This role requires a business minded, working knowledge of technology, software systems, fundamental coding concepts and proactive individual with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibility:
Technology & Business Understanding
· Strong understanding of software, technology solutions, digital products, and analytics.
· Ability to engage confidently with developers, technical teams, and technology partners.
· Comfortable participating in technical discussions and challenging assumptions where appropriate.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Project Management & Execution
· Experience coordinating multiple projects and work streams simultaneously.
· Understanding of project management methodologies and delivery frameworks.
· Ability to track milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items.
· Experience preparing project updates, dashboards, and executive reports.
Strategic & Commercial Support
· Strong business acumen with an understanding of commercial drivers.
· Ability to conduct market research, competitor analysis, and business opportunity assessments.
· Support strategic planning, business development initiatives, and client engagements.
· Participate in executive meetings and ensure follow-through on key decisions.
Stakeholder Management
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to engage professionally with clients, partners, investors, and senior executives.
· Support engagements across East and West Africa.
· French fluency is essential.
Requirements/Preferred Background
· Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
· 3 - 7 years of experience in consulting, technology, project management, strategy, operations, fintech, or business analysis.
· Experience working in a technology company, startup, consulting firm, or digital transformation environment would be highly desirable.
· Rwandan nationality preferred.
· Fluent in both French and English.
